Hello everyone! 

My names Katie and I am super excited to be joining the Calculated Accountancy Team as their sponsored rider. 

I manage a local livery yard near Bewdley called 'Silligrove Farm Livery' and have done since 2017.

I have a great team around me and a great string of horses. 

My main horse Nep (Neptune's Orbit - pictured above) is a 16yo, 14.2h grey, gelding, were not sure on his exact breeding but Connemara cross! 

I have owned him since 2013 and we have grown up together, he is definitely my heart horse. 

We've had lots of ups and downs, blood, sweat and tears but we have been on the other side of that for a good handful of years now. 

We have done nearly every discipline possible from eventing to show jumping and lots of dressage. Also lots of fun rides, beach rides, side saddle lessons and generally just exploring the countryside making lots of memories along the way.

Our dressage journey began when he was roughly 8 years old as I discovered he wasn't the bravest jumper. We have competed up and down the country, gaining many successful placings and scores.

We have done trailblazers, riding club championships, Petplan Area Festivals for the last couple of years, the associated championships this year which was a first for us! 

I am also lucky enough to be able to ride and compete some very talented horses owned by some of my great liveries, a horse I have ridden for a few years now Trev, a 11yo ex racehorse who has not had a straight forward life, and hit lots of bumps along the road but I have enjoyed rehabbing him and now we are able to enjoy some low level dressage!

A new ride for me is Halo, a 8yo 16.1 Appaloosa x mare who I am having lots of fun with, she mainly enjoys show jumping and arena XC.
